Wagner Uniblocks are hydraulic manifolds which incorporate all the components and functions necessary to interface an autopilot or electric steering controls to hydraulic steering gear. Hydraulic oil pressure is delivered by an electric motor or engine-driven pump. Adjustable flow control valve, system relief valve, rudder lock valve, solenoid operated 4-way control valve, and an optional selectable dual rate are an integral part of the Uniblock design. This single unit construction simplifies installation and reduces cost by eliminating the need for external piping.

The fully adjustable flow control valve regulates the oil flow through the full speed range of the engine or allows the flow rate to be adjusted on electric motor driven pumps. The flow control regulates from 0 to full. With the rudder lock valve and the use of SAE 0-ring ports, Wagner Uniblocks meet Classification requirements.
